In January, Eric and Pamela attended the National ABOTA board meeting. Eric is an ABOTA diplomate, having tried over 100 jury trials, and Pamela currently serves as Member-at-Large to the OC-ABOTA board.
"Thank you for the information about the settlement. Thanks even more for all you did to help me. I really needed help with this, and you were the perfect attorney. I am very appreciative of your professional expertise, and that you are so easy to work with."
Last month, Connor settled into his new chambers at City Council where he currently serves as a Buena Park City Councilman, having been elected in November 2018 by the largest margin of victory in the city’s history.
Eric argued the Plaintiff case and Pamela for the Defense in a jury focus group recently. Eric will be going to trial with the case later this year. The focus group deliberated for about two hours and provided some valuable feedback.
Alumni Eric and Pamela presented to a Legal Writing class at Western State University College of Law where they spoke on the topic of "Persuasion in Practice."
Connor was sworn into his new position of City Council Member on December 11 at Buena Park City Hall where many joined the crowd to witness and celebrate.
Buena Park has elected Connor to their City Council by the largest margin of victory in the city’s history. "I will begin moving forward immediately on proposals related to property crime, homelessness, parking, home improvement, utilities, city commissions, local hire, a new park, and protections for renters," said Connor. "I thank Buena Park voters for making your voices heard. I’m ready to get to work for you.” Read more…
Eric was invited by the Law Practice Management and Technology class to answer the law students' questions. Most of the students attending this class have plans of pursuing the field of personal injury law.
The Orange County American Board of Trial Advocates' new incoming President, Peter Polos, has selected Pamela Liosi-Traut to join the Board as Member-at-Large. "She has been a tireless worker and great supporter of our chapter for years," said Mike Strickroth, OC ABOTA President of 2018. Pamela plans to move through the positions in the coming years to the presidency.
Taking to heart the sage advice of a former President of the United States who Connor met in 2016, he has run his campaign as if he was the underdog. Over the last 6 months, he has spent much of his free time walking door to door to discuss what he will do for the city with each of his constituents. Over 800 of those residents have placed signs in their yard endorsing his candidacy.
