Our paralegals, legal assistants, administrative assistants, medical records, and file clerks work tirelessly to ensure a process that is as seamless as possible for our clients.

MORGAN TRAUT DENOS

Legal Assistant

Morgan Traut Denos graduated from Chapman University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Anthropology. As Eric’s daughter, Morgan has worked for Traut Firm through the years. Raised in a world surrounded by lawyers and judges, familiarity with the process made it easy for her to understand the work. In May of 2023, Morgan began working for the firm as a legal assistant in a more official capacity. Responsibilities include a strong understanding of the legal process and terminology, transcription, proofreading and filing of documents, meeting deadlines, scheduling, and providing general assistance to attorneys.

LUPE MORALES

Legal Assistant

An indispensable part of the Traut Firm family, Lupe Morales is one of our newest legal assistants. Having previously worked at law firms practicing immigration law and criminal defense, her position with Traut Firm is her introduction to personal injury law. She attended Santa Monica Community College, receiving an AA in Social and Behavioral Science. She transferred to Loyola Marymount University, majoring in History with a minor in Economics. Responsibilities include a strong understanding of the legal process and terminology, transcription, proofing and filing of documents, meeting deadlines, scheduling, and providing general assistance to attorneys.

Evelia Sanchaez, Legal Assistant/Bookeeper at the Traut Firm

EVELIA SANCHAEZ

Legal Assistant/Bookeeper

A graduate of Santa Ana College, Evelia Sanchez began working with the Traut Firm in 1989. She quickly became a legal assistant to Eric specifically. An essential member of the Traut Firm’s family, Evelia works on many of the high-profile, wrongful death and personal injury cases. Her responsibilities include general legal assistant tasks as well as all e-filings in California’s State and Federal courts. Evelia is also responsible for the firm’s bookkeeping.

Judy Gilbaugh, Medical Records Clerk at Traut Firm

JUDY GILBAUGH

Medical Records Clerk

Judy Gilbaugh is the Medical Records Clerk for Traut Firm. She brings varied work experience to the firm having worked as an ambulance dispatcher, a customer service representative at John Wayne Airport, and a personal secretary at a caregiving facility. Judy’s responsibilities include obtaining all relevant records and bills, preparing an itemized list of economic damages on behalf of the clients, and staying on top of any client updates and changes.

DIANA NGUYEN

Paralegal

When Diana started college, she wanted to be a writer. She quickly learned that loving literature and cultivating such a career are separate things. After thoughtful consideration, Diana chose a career in law. She believed working in this area would enable her love of reading and writing to be utilized in a very fulfilling way. Diana earned internships related to Family Law, Personal Injury, and Employment Law. These experiences supported her career path choice. Diana has never looked back. Diana Nguyen is a recent addition to Traut Firm. In late October 2023, she began working as Eric’s paralegal. She exemplifies leadership skills and is a strong member of the Traut Firm’s support team. She is a graduate of California State University Long Beach with a BA in Political Science. She also studied at Irvine Valley College, received an AA in Liberal Arts, Paralegal Studies, and Political Science, and earned a Paralegal Certificate of Achievement.
